Flowers were left in Tara's memory for the 5th year in a row under the Arch at University of Georgia Athens.
In attendance were Tara's Parents and brother Kevin, Fox 5 News, The Athens Banner-Herald,
campus newspaper The Red & Black, Safe Campuses Now, members of the Athens/Clarke County Police Force, 
Court TV, friends, well-wishers, students and onlookers.

The police were presented with a letter from Tara's parents, Lindsay and Virginia Baker explaining that
renowned forensic scientist Dr. Henry Lee has agreed to review the case if the local police give the okay.
The letter also stated that Tara's parents were willing to take on the task of raising the money to hire
Dr. Lee, thus providing this world-class help to the Athens/Clarke County Police at no charge
to the local government. Shockingly, the police once again were noncommittal about receiving outside
help on a case they are seemingly unable to make progress on themselves. Curious.
