January 20th, 2007 (Tara's Birthday)
A candlelight vigil is held at Tara's graveside in Fayetteville, Georgia. A gathering of Tara's friends and family
mourn her loss as violinist Sarah Dorney plays beautiful hymns at dusk. Tara's friend Courtney Pate tends a
rememberance box where attendees write cherished notes for the family to keep.
Guest speakers Woody Ussery and Woody Johnson lead the crowd in prayer and rememberance.
Tara's father, mother and sister are interviewed by local news channels WSBTV CH 2 (ABC),
WAGA FOX 5, WXIA TV CH 11 (NBC), WGNX CH 46 (CBS). Luminaries, lit by Tara's siblings
and cousins are held as Tara's life is reflected upon in the waning light. Warm cider and cookies are served.
The ceremony closes with Tara's father, Lindsay Baker holding up his candle to Tara's headstone and
tearfully wishing her "Happy birthday, baby."
